We live in a culture that calls everything trauma, but clinically and biblically, that word carries a weight that not every hard experience meets. And when we misuse it, we do more damage than we realize.
In this episode of Hope for the Mind, Kristin breaks down what trauma actually is, the clinical definition, the three types, and the four specific markers that have to be present for something to qualify as traumatic. She also brings the Word into it, because scripture has a lot to say about the difference between trials that build us and wounds that need healing.
